René has used a number of books and classes as well as consults with Cheryl from Cheryl's Herbs in St Louis, to create custom blends and incorporate the healing properties of essential olis into the services offered.

We also have Carol Hodge as our certified aromatherapist. Carol has created one of a kind , hand painted, aromatherapy apothecary vessels. She has also crafted some amazing bath products. Come smell our newest perfume oils and signature oil blends. We use many of these oil blends in our sessions at Healing Hands. Aromatherapy adds another dimension of healing and relaxation to therapeutic massage.

Our facial line "Eminence" from Hungary is 100% natural and has up to 96% active organic ingredients. (The Hungarian spring water used in the products cannot be listed as organic and that's what keeps this line from being 100% organic.)

I also use organic, unrefined shea, cocoa, mango and kokum butters in some of my massage products. I also use U.S. sea salt, Dead Sea salt, epsom salt and various clays. These are all usually blended with aloe, pure essential oils and other fruit or vegetable oils to aid in healing the body and adding a sense of relaxation to the client during a session.

Aromatherapy can also be added to the steam canopy that is used for detoxing and relaxation. Combine a session of massage with a body scrub and the steam canopy - ahhhhh - so relaxing!
